Have some pics of the Columbus sky, and of a hawk that might be the same one I saw flying around here last month.
The Sparrow Commission meets to discuss the hawk.
A Hearty War On Christmas Happy Holidays! to everyone, brought to you by Pink Saturday Cab.

Have a wonderful holiday weekend thunder! All the best to you and yours.
A pink cab? I loves it! :)
((Hugs))
Laura
that kitteh vid is pretty adorable, thunder.
I considered yoinking it for my joint, but already have a War on Christmas song video there.
Look out Nutkin, there's a raptor o'erhead!
I have to say, the red-tailed hawks here in ATL seem a bit larger than their Ohio cousins. Is that possible?
Here, the sparrows mob the hawks, chase 'em all across the sky. So do the jays and mockingbirds. We have a lot of hawks—and I ain't just talking NBA, yo!
Happy Merry to you and yours and all your fine Commenters here!
Jim H.
The sky in the first pic is magnifique.
Hoppy Holidays, thudner!
He/she/it/hawk is a lot bigger than it seems, Jim.
In that second picture, there is a school wall in the foreground. The hawk is on the other side of the school.
Thanks, everybody!

Take care, stay warm and enjoy the holiday pagan weekend dear friend. ;-)
Your pink cab photo has beautiful muted tones - especially the pink!
Merry Christmas!
I still think it looks liek a handsaw.
Teh video is grate. I love videos like these - potential disasters where instead of doing anything to prevent a tree collapsing onto a kitten, teh person filming makes sure that they get everything on tape and are quiet enough that no one interrupts.
I am a bit surprised you didn't say Hippie Hollandaise, thundra.
I'm guessing their artificial tree was not decorated with priceless ornaments.
Or perhaps they trust in ceiling cat to provide for any and all eventualities.

Cthulhu fhtagn.
Do you get eagles out your way?
We have them in Ohio, but I haven't scene one, zencomix.

We got lotsa eagles, and they dig through the garbage here because we're no good at figuring out how to manage the salmon runs.
