And everything is as it should be. :)

Those birds are so gorgeous. [pretentious]As an artist,[/pretentious] I'm incredibly inspired by their proportions, which are sort of exaggerated and strange in a lovely way.

Great photos, as always.

Missing is the photo where I explode from his stomach with his still beating heart in my hand and screaming "DID YOU SEE ME LAY DOWN THE LAW?!?!! I AM THE LAWGIVER!!!"

I'm watching this election with bated breath, ZRM.

How could it be so close? At least the Union Thug Lady is ahead (by 224, with 2 Milwaukee precincts to go along with 1 in Jefferson).

Shenanigans...

nah, it's just nearly impossible to unseat an incumbent judge.

Up until 8 weeks ago, the race wasn't even on the radar. If there were a couple more weeks, Prosser's negs would have risen.

Also, "outside sources" (cough Kochsuckers cough) outspent Kloppenburg's supporters 3 to 2.

it's gonna be a recount, so just get settled.

Haven't heard anything untoward about shenanigans; WI hasn't gone to touch screens, we use paper ballots for the most part.

A few hiccups, but totally in keeping with the typical election. The only reason they even come into play is because of the closeness of the totals.

I am fine with a recount. Dems gain when every vote is counted. Besides, it gives an opportunity to keep the Walker/Prosser/Satan story in the news.

I do wish T&U had voted though. Might have made the difference.

Tetrapod Zoology has a series of "eating gone awry" posts.

The great blue heron at my usual jobsite spent the whole winter. It's a shy beast, though.

More indication of just how much an uphill battle this race is:

If Kloppenburg's narrow margin holds up through the potential recount, it will be just the fifth time a Wisconsin Supreme Court justice has been unseated since the court's establishment in 1852.

Thunder I was uploading pictures now to destroy you with birds of this and similar types only today just taken. Yet you anticipate my move and shame me.

To you I say: COBAG!

Ok, hey, whatta surprise. In the modern battle of dinosaur vs. ichthyes it is once again the predatory dinosaur that reigns supreme.

Although I tend to think that fellah would have been better grilled, but if he had to go with raw, I hope there's some wasabi seaweed nearby.
