Neighborhood Animals

Kitty heard a bird!

Nutkin chose a small tree to hide in. He/she/it/squirrel was not pleased with the results.

The Frank Fetch Park hibiscus has a new flower already.

UPDATE: I hadn't included this pic so far because it isn't that sharp. On the other hand, it's the best cardinal picture I've gotten this year. They're quite camera-shy...practically the pileated woodpecker of downtown Columbus.

Boy, do I feel stupid. I had no idea hibiscus was an animal.

I love the top kitty photo.

I cannot look at certain colors of hibiscus without thinking of my mother's lipstick circa '66.

Now I'm confused. Are squirrels a vegetable?

Yes, snag. As with the tomato, people are often confuzzled.

You sure those aren't New Zealand pics, Thunder? That cat looks like it belongs at Chez Clyde.

The Cardinal is verrrry red. This will confuse cats who think the blood is supposed to come out after the biting and such.
I think the skwarril has its' eye on your camera
