Carmi's Thematic Photographic 305 is Look straight down. Here's Theda!
I believe this is a Gray Treefrog. It's been very dry here lately (the White Trail frog pond and creek dried up). We had one day of heavy rain, and there were several treefrogs on the basement sliding glass door last night.
Not quite straight down, but the Doggie Patrol deserves a picture:

Cute little froggy.
That frog is so small!
Theda is as cute as ever, of course.
That is one teeny frog! Does Theda eat them??
That frog looks very comfortable on your finger.
The frog really is small but I'm glad you showed it on your finger otherwise I might have thought you just had big feet! Is that a blue light on the top of your car -looks like a police vehicle too me?
I'll bet the night lights up with their songs!
Gray treefrog is small, but not as small as the tiny toads.
P.S. I found one of the tiny toads today.
He/she/it/toad is bigger than a month and a half ago, but still smaller than the treefrog. (Saving picture for critter Saturday.)

These are great look straight down photos, what a cute little tree frog too, but your doggie patrol is just adorable! I love seeing a dog looking out the window, like he's just one of the guys!
Good question, does Theda eat the tree frogs? My dog Misty tears after squirrels and she'd eat any one she could catch I bet, but when it comes to the bunnies, Misty chases them but she'd never touch them! She knows mom likes the bunnies too much!
Nope, Theda never even sees treefrogs, since they only appear on the glass windows at night. She is very interested in eating chipmunks and/or squirrels, although she never catches them.
P.S. That isn't my car with the revolving blue light, it's a neighborhood watch lady who lives up the mountain. Her dog always comes along for the ride, and always has his head out the window.
WATCHING!
