There aren't many fences around here. There are guardrails on the roads, which are steep and get good and icy in the winter. (As you can see, they also get used.)

What a sweet and touching post! And I thought you were headed to the pool! Hehehe! You really hit home with the almost heaven, as today is one year since I bid my last kiss and farewell to my beloved Lady, who left for Doggy heaven in the afternoon last August 14th.

Thunder, you in West Virginia now? I'll be driving to mom's house in Prince William County, taking the route through PA to 15, going through Leesburgh. I'm doing the "get there at dawn" thing Monday morning, and leaving late morning on Wednesday. I'll be relatively close to your stomping grounds.
It was 54 degrees in Berkeley Springs this morning, a little cooler on the mountain side.
Pretty wonderful, really!
