The Sky and the Fountain

Carmi's Thematic Photographic 196 is Look Up.

So I did, and this is what I saw:

Von requested a fountain. This fountain is in the middle of Frank Fetch Park in German Village.

Other beesness: A cardinal, some snapdragons, and a cat.

UPDATE: Jimi Hendrix added for simulcasting with the fountain video.

I was thinking I should include another video so they could both be played at the same time.

How about Purple Haze?

Is that a Jacob's Ladder?

Were the sunbeams before or after the rain. Just lately if you looked up here you would only get rain in your eye!

I really enjoy your videos! Very cool! As for sound, fountains are always magical for me! What a cool cat too! Now if only we could hear meow....meow.....with a beat to the music! Ha ha!

Thanks! Those sunbeams were after a cloudy "threatening to rain" that never quite materialized.

Luckily for all those souls, apparently!

A coupla times in my life I've seen the anticrepuscular rays effect, and they make it all worthwhile.

The sky in that first photo is breathtaking. What a shot you got...and you didn't even have to trick any ducks to get it.

That sky photo could be used for a gospel record cover.

Hey! Where's that hope and change post?!?

I blame Thers, Jennifer. He put up an unexpected afternoon post, then I went to the store, and a butterfly flapped its wings in China.

Next thing you know, Tom Friedman will be writing my post.

What'd you get at the store?

Hey, where'd you get that picture of my cat? And that's a great shot of the sun coming through the clouds. Good job.
