Cardinal Song

It's hot and humid here in Columbus, but the birds and flowers don't mind.

Indeed, vs. It's hard to walk by them and not take their picture.

I'm in a The Who sort of mood, so video added.

BTW, fun fact: My cat is named "Lily." Well, one of them is named that.

One is named Pippi, but she has gotten so fat, she probably should be named Puss.

Puss in Boots will always be a star, no matter how many pounds he adds.

Look, R.G. I managed to take the same picture at the same time a few minutes ago, without even trying.

Also: relief in our future.

Great pictures! I love Cardinals, they might be my favourite birds.

Did you know they were rarely seen north of the Ohio river until 1886, Laura?

Columbus, OH = Garden Spot. Or, at least that's what I've read on the interwebs.

My Mini-Dachshund is named Lily. Pictures of her can be found.

I have a Cobra Lily in my backyard

The Cardinal's singing because Herr Popenfuhrer agreed to pin it on the butler.

Because everybody knows the butler did it.

That's the main reason I don't use a human butler - Macaca mulatta is much easier to throw the the cops if necessary, and in the meantime I can call him Macaca entirely unironically....

Hot and humid here today, too. Mowed the fecking lawn anyway. What the hell, I've got beer.
