We had a storm last night too - rain and wind and my power went out fourteen different times.
Yours is nicer to look at, but I remind myself it's probably thirty degrees colder.
Oh, and my mom wants me to yell at you to put some food out for that cat. She's been dead for years, but when it comes to feeding outdoor cats, she doesn't let that get in her way.
You should listen - she frightens me...
Great. Now it's hooked on kitty welfare.

P.S. My guess has been he got left behind by some weekenders up here.
But after getting fed a few days, seeing me put the food in the bowl, and staying out all day and night in some pretty cold weather...he still took off this morning racing down the hill (through the snow!) when I opened the basement sliding door this morning.

That is a very congenial looking cat, smiling in the sun tho' left behind. My cat gives me the dead-eye and bitches and complains, though I love her dearly. She's spoiled - for all but me! BWAAHAAHAAAAA
I'm partial to the marmelade cats... it looks pretty well fed- hope it's not eating nuthaches!
Guess who was sitting on the mat outside the basement door when I got up this morning.
He (just going with the odds) still runs away when I open the door, though.
