Ohio Can Has Darwin?

Ohio Republicans succeeded Thursday in legalizing the carrying of guns in places where liquor is sold, such as bars, night clubs, shopping malls, sports venues and restaurants. The bill was passed earlier in the month.

But manager Ken George of Eddy & Iggy's Sports Bar in Lakewood said he is a fan of the measure. It makes sense to allow law-abiding bar patrons to carry weapons to protect themselves against criminals, he said.

"I just think everybody's safer when everybody has guns," George said.

Getting shot in the face after someone's had too many appletinis is just the price we have to pay for freedom.

Freedom isn't free. It's overpriced and covered in blood and Apple Schnapps.

But... but... an armed society is a polite society!

An armed, drunken society...

Also, appeltini pistol girl is really alluring... this post is triggering.

I wonder what would happen if she pulled the trigger on that cannon while holding it one-handed.

Why did they not include the State Legislature?

There's a place where the citizens of Ohio REALLY need to be able to defend themselves.

I don't know what all you lefties are whining about, no one has ever fucked with me when I stroll down the avenue toting my neon-orange Super Soaker.

Oh look, how many westerns have you seen when there is a shoot-out in a saloon? The good guys always win, right?
Silly worrying liberals.

Good point, A.K.

If the goopers had any style, they would have called this the "Shane! Come Back!" bill.

Of course, they have none.

Mrs. Kiwi says that occasionally the piano player gets plugged. This is, of course, a bad thing and the reason why Beethoven fled to Germany.
