On Top Of Lake Siri

All covered with cheese...

My contribution to Eileeninmd's Saturday's Critters #110.

Who let the d.a.w.g. out?

Last night in D.C.:

Here's the birdie bush yesterday afternoon:

Birdie bush at 10:29 A.M. this morning:

And a bit more table bird action from Cacapon Mountain, W.V. (I am also linking to Anni's I'd Rather B Birdin'.):

P.S. The Thundermobile a few minutes ago (it's snowing harder now than it was around noon, and that's after the blizzard overnight):

That is no cheese like I've ever seen. Eeeek! Stay warm out there and be carerful. Hope you have lots of food and drink stocked up. I'd be taking my pictures through the window I think.

Hello, cute shots of your Theda. I love the birds too. I hope you are safe and warm in DC. Today we have to dig out! Thank you for linking up and sharing your post. Have a happy weekend!

I've returned to add my thanks for sharing your link to this post to share with us at I'd Rather B Birdin' this weekend. But, oh all that snow....I wouldn't like that. Except for the fact, I could watch birds from my warm room. Keep on sharing and making use of your camera. Hope your dog didn't get frost bitten feet.

Great photos! We are in the middle of it also. We got back from vacation over a couple of weeks ago.

You stopped by Hootin' Anni's and I wanted to repay you a visit. Y'know that dash of 'red' in the snow laden bushes just happens to be dazzling.

My mom said her neighborhood got 33 inches of snow. I lucked out at work, where I've been camping out since Friday night... only about a foot, but I'm not optimistic about the parking situation at home, where more snow fell. I'll probably be shoveling snow at 2AM.

Dogs love snow—esp. big hairy dogs like Theda. It's always a joyous surprise to them. Stay warm, my friend. We managed to dodge that mess this time around. However, if it had been ~5 degrees colder, we would've had an impressive, possibly historic ice storm.

BTW/OT: Ms/Dr. Langame & I will be up in the Mt Capacon area this summer, mid-July, after our eldest's wedding in Va. Beach. We will be wending our way leisurely down the Shenandoah & Blue Ridge Pkwys. Keeping an eye out for cute/cool B&Bs. Be on the lookout!

Lots of ice and snow, what a winter for the dogs to play! The birds much appreciated your food, I'm sure, it would be great to attract some woodpeckers, so cute.
