Deer Fences

In front of the house in West Virginia I have some mountain laurels. Here's what happens if one doesn't have a deer fence:

At the side of the house, one has been languishing for a few years. (But living...because it has a fence!) So I finally moved the entire kit and kaboodle to the front.

West Virginia Treefrog

Carmi's Thematic Photographic 305 is Look straight down. Here's Theda!


I believe this is a Gray Treefrog. It's been very dry here lately (the White Trail frog pond and creek dried up). We had one day of heavy rain, and there were several treefrogs on the basement sliding glass door last night.
