Alexia, I'm guessing Bambi was born in that little thicket not too long ago. I got the movie after following he/she/it/fawn around for a bit...that's my car in the parking lot in the 2nd pic.
Bambi circled around and went back to the place where I first saw him. ~
Little Bambi, not so very close...probably at least 20 - 25 feet when he was in the thicket.
The deer in the last pic? Right outside the car window. Evidently they don't worry about cars much. Although based on all the ex-deer you see on the roadside, they should. ~
Nice Summer post! :) Nice deer pictures. The little one is cute. If they are like elk, the mothers 'park' their babies so that they can go elsewhere and graze.
I saw a deer this morning on the golf course. He/she was about twenty-five feet from my cart grazing behind a bush. ..

Awww, so sweet, thunder! He would like the ducklings, I think.
Whoa, how close were you able to get to the deer?

Aaah! All ears and legs! But where was its Mum?? Crossing the road looks a bit dangerous for such a young animal!
But lovely photos!
What a rip off! When does the mother get shot?!
Settle down, ewe!

Cute!
I am VERY disappointed that nobody in the commentariat has posted a link to Bambi vs. Godzilla yet.
Yup! My ABSTRACT is of Palm Trees in sunny(night time) Arizona.
Let's just hope it doesn't become a road kill victim. Good shooting (photographic).
Nice deer pictures. It's always fun capturing pictures of the wildlife.

Remember, thunder, if a deer could, it would shoot you and everyone you care about.

I did have one try to kill me with a kamikaze attack while I was driving, once.
Is that a shiny new avatar, Brando?

It is, only seven years after I made my Blogger profile. It really says everything you need to know about me.
Deer attempt suicide attacks against Americans all the time, yet the media ignores it.
