The footage is great. It should, though, build into a furious death-metal assault.

You played them both at the same time, I hopes?

Shouldn't everything?

Gorgeous photos, thudner. There's something about a forrest clearing that's just magical to me...

Btw, the manipulators at dA are gaga for a dark Forrest background. Any chance I could upload the first pic to my stock gallery? I'd credit and link to you of course.

Yes, vs, that'd be fine. I looked into your earlier suggestion of donating stock, but then registering (and such as) put an end to that project.

Story of me life...I might still get one of them sell phones you kids go about, though. Some day...

Thanks, thudner!! I will now step off your lawn, rather than doing a defiant booty-dance like I was planning on.

Hey, very nice Mr. Thunder. the rain sounds very different in the woods, just as wet, of course.

Only if there is someone there to hear it.

Thought you were covering my neighbors for a moment.

Looks like it was even bumpier further up the coast.

P.S. I put part of the woodpecker section of the log above in the fireplace last night. If I get around to it, I'll post a pic...it was a large tree limb.

I think it should build into a cuddly death-metal assault.

Wind storms? We lay awake most of the night listening to pounding rain, booming thunder (the lightning didn't get us, btw), strong winds, and dreading the local tornado warning siren (which did not come). That was some storm—Mississippi to WVa and beyond. Branches down all over ATL town, flooded creeks (I neglected to take a pic of mine, but take my word for it was the Big Muddy), and, north of here, some serious destruction.

The holes are where they were going to put the dynamite, right?

Yeah, that probably was part of their nefarious plot, S.C.

I guess I'm not paying them off with enough suet blocks.

That first pic looks like a still from Excalibur... needs some "O Fortuna" blasting.

those recordings are heaven. I am just going to listen to them in my office all day.

y'know, if you are hungover, a nap on the porch with your eyes covered is a very good idea.
