How did turnout seem to be? I voted before 7AM, then went to work (my workplace is a polling site, and I basically had to make sure the poll workers were comfortable and the voters knew where to go). I'm still at work, at another jobsite... it's nice and quiet and the moon is a giant, near-full ORB!
thunder, did you get my email? Sorry I sent it late. Was hoping to meet up with you.
Being in the bleachers at The Ed Show was fun! Bleachers full of teachers, firemen, cops, steel workers, auto workers, etc., was so great and inspiring!! Especially when a teacher would start this chant:

That was the least exciting octopus/shrimp fight I've ever seen. Back in the day, when I used to bet on octopus/shrimp fights.... errr, never mind. :)
Glad they could fit voting in between the prayer meeting and the Bible study. :)

True, the youtube title is misleading, which is both shocking and disturbing.
But the video of the octopus swimming, crawling around, and changing colors is stunning.
P.S. The "fight" is 4:14 - 4:27...The octopus threw in the towel.

I prefer the mantis shrimp video you linked to at my place... it had a dahg in it.
So?? Are you at the Ed Show??
No, I was going to go if I could meet the bg and Skimmer. But I don't know if they were going to make it down.
(I hope my stupit Yahoo email didn't end up in their spam folder, along with the Nigerian princes.)

I think that octo video gave PZ Myers a chubby.
Looks like you Buckeyes notched a win tonight, nice.
Woo-Hoo!!!
BBB, I don't have a link to support this, but I read it on the Internet, so it must be true!
More people turned out to vote against Issue 2 than voted for Kasich last year. Woo-hoo!

TELL US WHAT DEMOCRACY LOOKS LIKE!
And everyone in response:
THIS IS WHAT DEMOCRACY LOOKS LIKE!
However, I do have to say...
Being in the "audience" of that show really gave me a front row seat showing me how the machine works.
VOTE(D) CTHULHU
Ooops, for some reason I had it in my head that it was a daytime event.
Well we won, and won big!

ZOMG, y'all totally drank Kasich's milkshake!!!!!!
CONGRATS!!!
Thudner's vote was very powerful. I feel a disturbance in the force.

You know, if you all had turned out LAST year, you might not have had to do this whole referendum thing THIS year.
just sayin.
zombie is triggering me.
P.S. Given the odds that clicking that link does not get you to my comment (because all blog common-tation systems suck), here.

So now thunder and I are totally responsible for every lazy liberal in Ohio?
Good luck with that!

Well, I think that goes without saying.
Your "show me on the doll" comment on Wonkette was one of the funniest things I've read in a very long time.
I stole it from Kathleen, who wrote herself. (Heh, no she stole it from someplace else.)
That's liberal values for you...

I am so glad the vote went the way it did. Congratulations to your state. Now can you convince those folks in Cincinnati to dump Boehner?
I really wanted more Mixed Mollusk Arts.
Carry me Ohio! Nice job at the polls.
