I love the Widow Skimmer. Is that a bug that is regional or widespread across these here United States?

Here's a stinkbug, mikey.That's a female stag beetle, and this is what the male looks like.Dusty, those skimmers are not found west of Texas, but there are some others that may be out in California. Western Pondhawk, perhaps?~

This is what we called a stinkbug back in that land of California when I was a kid.I saw one of those widow skimmers in Montana last month. Cool bug.
I remember when I lived in AZ and the friggin bees/bugs in general were so huge, they looked like b52's coming in..and you could hear them before you saw them.
We should all bee thankful.~
