Carmi's Thematic Photographic 343 is Far from Home. The furthest I've been is to Maui, followed by Argentina. Back then I just had film cameras, and none of the shots are available here. (I'd take pictures of the pictures, if I could.) This pic is out west from the earlier days of my blog.

Update: I sometimes forget that Nature Notes is something you do in advance. This is my contribution to Nature Notes (#322). Here's a butterfly party down by Lake Siri:
For Skywatch Friday - July 30, 2015 Edition, a pic from Cacapon Mountain looking over Berkeley Springs (you can't see the town because it's behind the foothills):
Also, looking north over Lake Siri at Cacapon Mountain:

Gosh that Grand Canyon shot is amazing! I envy you that; my visit, many years ago and pre-digital, did produce some photos which have since been lost... this is a great pic.
that view is amazing. Love the bees on the flowers and the fence shot
Far out is a great caption for the Grand Canyon photo. And I love the beesness.
neat view in the top shot. and i love a vine-covered wood fence. :)
Good morning, I love the view of the Grand Canyon, just beautiful! Lovely the flowers and fence shot. Happy Friday, have a great weekend!
Oh my gosh, what an incredible capture, and lovely places for you to have seen! Your beesness is super sweetness you know!
Great images of Grand Canyon and the bees! Have a great weekend!
A spectacular canyon - its hard to believe that wind and water can do all that! And the bees are lovely, of course!
Was just there (@GC!). Will post pics soon.
There are ways to convert old film pics to digital, you know. You should think about. We have shoeboxes full of stuff from days gone by that should be brought into the 21st Century.
I have so many photos on film that I should do something with... When I went back, that other post was from 2009. You have been blogging a long time and I am surprised that I have run into you as you participate in the memes. But I haven't done as many of them lately myself. Really, link in any post you like from Monday night until I close it on Friday and I haven't done that yet...Love the view, the bees and the butterflies...Michelle
