This cardinal is sitting on a horse fence in Ashburn, Va.
These two fences are in D.C.:
Here are a couple of critters, just for the halibut:
P.S. Here's someone's front lawn in D.C. It's entirely devoted to flowers.

Good morning, I love the crepe myrtle fence. And your cute Theda in the creek. Great fence shots! Have a happy day!
lovely pics all the way through. :) hi, theda!
nice capture of the cardinal
Great shots...all of them! Still smiling over the "critters for the halibut" haha!
I enjoy flowers and yours were a pleasure to see.
Wow, that Fiery Skipper is so cool! I always like seeing Theda, and if you could only have a video running on everything she's looking at. I don't believe much gets by her!
Wonderful photos...reminding me of Virginia (sigh):-) Hope you have been able to attract some hummingbirds now too.
Extraordinary photos! I love all those flowers in the front yard!
P.S. Here's someone's front lawn in D.C. It's entirely devoted to flowers.
That makes so much more sense than grass, which is useless and high-maintenance.
Nice set of photos! I like the front lawn replaced by a flower garden.
I like seeing a dog in most of your posts.
And, my favorite feathered friend, the St. Louis Cardinal :)
Have a Wonderful Day!
Peace :)
Nice! Imagine doing your entire front yard in flowers!
I love the cardinal and the crepe myrtle - and I always take flowers over a lawn!
beautiful flowers and little Cardinal
pretty bird =cardinals are favorites of mine...and most everyone I meet= Lots of beauty in your photos. And the last yard somewhere in D.C.----I would LOVE to have something like this in my own yard...a flower-lined pathway.
The crepe myrtle is lovely! I wish I could grow it here!
Oh I love the cardinals they are so pretty. Nice fences and a flower instead of grass front lawn sounds wonderful. B
Nice shot of the Cardinal on the fence.
That flowering shrub is so pretty.
Good to see the "critters" and oh my I don't think I'd want my front lawn to be quite that full with flowers, I enjoy grass and flowers but each in their own space.
Nice fence and pretty critters. Looks like too much of plants and flowers leaving the path too narrow. But the blooms are lovely.
That cardinal giving you the once over.
Love your critters, even the halibut!
Wow... Love that lawn! And your sense of humor.... Michelle
Nice fences and flowers. I always enjoy seeing your sweet dog.
lol, the cardinal is taking over the horses fence. Well done!
