Mystery Birdie Bush update

My contribution to TexWiscGirl's Good Fences #128. Note the leaves fallen on the ground.

And Mr. Cardinal:

So it's already Friday night and almost time for Saturday Critters.

Update: Also linking to Eileen's Saturday's Critters #142. And Anni's I'd Rather B Birdin'.

Here's a Snowberry Clearwing shot I haven't used yet:

And a mockingbird lurking near the pokeberry shrubs:

Of course, cardinals are a favorite of mine. And the image of the mockingbird is wonderful. But I must be honest, I will have to go out on Google and look up pokeberry bush now. [did I spell that right?]

I'm a bit late in getting over to visit with you this weekend...hope all is going well, and thanks for adding your blog to the linking tool at I'd Rather B Birdin'.

Great names you have over there - pokeberry bush, snowberry clearwing, - of course, ours are much more normal (thinks: "kiwi, kaka, pukeko..." - hmmmm)

Hello!:) Brilliant capture of the Snowberry Clearwing, I think it must be a moth, but I have never heard of it. Love your Mockingbird image, and the tiny image of the Cardinal amongst the fallen leaves. Leaves are falling here too, and I love to see the Samara's spinning jenny's fall.

Your birds are lovely and that is a great shot of the Snowberry Clearwing, really special. I got to see hummingbird moths for the first time in years this summer. They are an impressive sight.
