UPDATE: I'm also contributing to Anni's I'd Rather B Birdin'. Most of the usual suspects showed up shortly after I put up the suet feeder...Chickadees, White-breasted Nutchatches, and Downy Woodpeckers. Missing in action so far are their feathered fellow travelers, the Tufted Titmice.

It has a certain poetic ring to it: a bee in DC! i like it but it is unusual this time of year!

Lucky you! Bees or any other live little critter best think real hard before venturing around my neck of the woods right now. This is a killer of a frozen tundra in Minnesota (for the moment) we will see 30's again very soon. Next week they say, or could our weather-folks be buttering us up?!
I am hoping to visit D.C. soon - so save that green grass (and bee) for me.
