I'm sure that Canada Goose was reflecting on the state of the world! We used to have breeding Canada Geese on the lake, but we now have one very aggressive Swan who attacks anything thinking of landing and sends them packing! Pity.
That lake is beautiful - much nicer than our little one! Maybe I need to move somewhere with larger geography!!
They're nice to look at, but it's not so nice to walk where they've been. I'll bet some pond owners would like to hire attack swans*!

I wish I could give Theda a hug. Maybe I'm odd that way, but I believe in hugging dogs, especially sweet ones like yours!
Lake Siri looks like the kind of place I could absorb for days on end. How incredibly peaceful and resonant!
