A reliable waterhole hidden at the base of a sandstone bluff made El Morro (the headland) a popular campsite.
I took pictures of the Anasazi ruins at the top, but these have yet to migrate to my home pc. Perhaps in an UPDATE!

Hah hah it is a hummingslug. Once the so-called brain got into the right frame it is easy to see. So did you eat it?
I would have, but I was afraid he/she/it/hummingbird-slug would peck my eyes out.
By the way, I added some pictures. The stone steps picture looks pretty nifty when you expand it. On the other foot, that picture of Woodpecker Rock looks like I didn't hold the camera steady. GRRRR!

I'm still trying to figure out why links I make to other blogs don't appear at those blogs. My content is not updated automatically when I post on Technorati, either. I have to ping them, then it updates. These things are probably related. I used the same classic blog template others use, so now I'm wondering if maybe my antiquated operating system is to blame. Thanks, Microsoft!
P.S. I'm not happy about the picture size. The old editor has the size (300 x 400) specified in the html. The new editor is more mysterious.

And, I noticed how your "left foot" photos now include the gratuitous knee shot... I imagine a day when you're showing your entire left side...
