Oh I love the little nuthatch! I have hope I'll see one here but it hasn't happened yet. Our leaf monster has another date in our town this month and hopefully all the leaves will be out of here!

I love how the nuthatches bounce along the trunks of trees, upside down, rightside up, every which way. Those little birds are natural comedians.
I don't know if any species has greater joy in the everyday than a dog who lives in a good home
