I've recently put up a couple of pics of Amelia the Wolfhound couch surfing. She loved to do this as soon as she was big enough to jump on a couch. Here she is on November 28, 2014:

Hello, Amelia is such a pretty dog. She looks at home on the couch! Love the birds, the wren is adorable and awesome capture of the chickadee in mid air. Thank you so much for linking up and sharing your post. Have a happy day and new week ahead!
Oh, Amelia is adorable! That shot of the cloud reflection is stunning as is the one of the bird mid-flight!
That capture of a wing-spread chickadee is remarkable!
Also, nothing like a big dog on a big sofa.
Best wishes for the holidays!
I luv titmouse(s)/mice
I love the photos....all of them. Your dog is darling/handsome/and sweet.
But the bird that "Saves the day"....that is a GREAT photo too.
Thanks for adding your link to I'd Rather B Birdin' this weekend.
And NORTH PADRE ISLAND is part of the barrier chain that runs all the way along the Texas coast. Not to be confused with South Padre Island which is just outside Brownsville/Port Isabel area, NORTH is across the intercoastal waterway of Corpus Christi.
Beautiful pictures!
I especially like the photo of the flying chickadee!
That's where my kitties sleep too.

She sure looks happy on that couch!
Chickadees are one of my very favorite birds. But I really like your doggie the best in your photos this morning. Have a happy week.
Wonderful photos ~ love that wolf hound and those sweet chickadees ~
Happy and magical week to you,
artmusedog and carol
Very beautiful.
Love the little chickadee in mid flight. It is so pretty. I had to look up more wolfhound photos on google. I don't think I have seen one before. My son wants a wolf for a dog :)
Great photos! Thank you for visiting my blog. P.S., yes, the squirrel has already found my tray feeder.
Oh yes, she is a whopper, beautiful. And there was the Wren, great photos too.
Our daughter and son-in-law's Tibetan Mastiff was a cute sight as it sat on the couch, but grew up with a sense of ownership. He would not be viscous, but rather simply crowded you away if you tried to sit on his half! They learned a lesson, and their subsequent puppies learned that the furniture belonged to 2-legged mammals.
A friend that I taught with bred wolfhounds and showed them for years... Gentle giants... Pretty reflection... Thanks for the coal article. I remember that now. How do they sleep at night?...
your wren is such a beautiful bird, thanks for sharing :)
