Monochrome Theda

My contribution to TexWiscGirl's Good Fences #76. I'm still playing with monochrome...this is Theda on the porch deck.

I startled a cicada in Ashburn and this yellow finch came out after it. Picture isn't too sharp, but...fence!

The Bambi family visited the backyard in W.V. yesterday:

GREAT shot of the deer! You must walk as quietly as an elf.

I have to ask what that is on your header. A statue that has been swallowed up by the sea? It's probably something famous I should have seen before! :)

Oh wow! (whispering) the deer are amazing! (and I don't want to disturb Theda either!)

You know, maybe partly because I really enjoy seeing Theda, but I rather favor your monochrome photo most of all here!

I'm not sure if you ever so the 2014 movie of The Giver, excellent if you haven't, but it's simply amazing how it's mostly a black and white movie, (enjoyable and not bland at all) until the end- COLOR! a most remarkable making.

Here's a link for The Giver, it's an excellent story besides their play with B and W and color, (I'm sure Carmi's attention this week to B and W had much to do with my thinking as well) The Giver link here-

Ah, I love the Bambi family. We have one too, in our woods. Our son wants to put one in his freezer at deer hunting season. :-(((
