Gray Catbird

Here's hoping Eileeninmd gets her google problems solved.

A couple birds that visited the feeder in West Virginia last week (I was traveling from Ohio to Virginia, and stopped at the house for a couple days):

A Gray Catbird in Ashburn, Va.

And now for something completely different: Rory watching Terminator 3.

Interesting, that little catbird. My dogs occasionally get interested in the television.

Catbirds are jaunty little fellows. We are lucky enough to have them living behind two of our worksites.

Rory looks really comfortable.

I love the nuthatch - he seems to be looking straight at you. They're all great bird shots (Cat bird? really? I had to google it... have you heard "its catty mew", I wonder?)

A pat and a scratch behind the ears for Rory :)

My favorite is the nuthatch, after dogs of course! Good choice in movie selection. Hasta la vista, baby!

It sure is good to be home for a few days in between trips. I'm a BIG fan of nuthatches!

Good morning! How is winter in your world? Our weekend was in the 50's- but don't bother asking about today. Boo Hoo!
