Would you believe...Theda and the Dogwood?

The birds aren't technically pets...but they do yell at me in the morning to bring the food out. (I've been bringing the feeder in at night since the raccoon trashed it 2 out of the 3 evenings.)

Here is the first Baltimore Oriole I've ever seen:

How did I guess your "pets" would have wings and a tail??? As usual, I envy you your colourful birds - and Theda is gorgeous!
They would be pets to me as well. The oriole is beautiful.
I just knew what you'd share! Perfect pet family, and life is good for them all too!
of dogs and woods , and fleurs , now stop calling me bambi .. .
I saw the Baltimore Orioles play the Yankess several times when I lived in NYC!
Orioles are gorgeous. They make funky woven nests, little hanging pouches. We had a nesting pair in our backyard when I was a kid. There's a nesting pair on one of my jobsites. I always look for the nests during the winter, when there are no leaves to obscure them.
