The Berkley Springs sky photo is just lovely. The little birdie's darn cute, too.

I was going to say your junco looks like a wren, but then you made a kick save.

"Carolina Wren Partner"

It's just waiting for the words, fish. And you're just the critter to write 'em!

I'm quite familiar with the Professor Longhair and Dr. John versions of Junco Partner, but the The Clash version is a new one to me. Thanks!

Some other awesome wrens.

The wrens I grew up with were significantly larger; that may be a juvy.

Words matter: Canada geese, not Canadian. They've not been granted citizenship or naturalization papers, eh.

That's the size I usually see around here, Jim.

a small but chunky bird

Beautiful bird pics. And I love the wriggly reflections in the water.

Thank you, Alexia.

When I was taking the photo, I didn't notice those wriggly lines.

It's only after downloading them to the laptop and reviewing that I saw them, and that's why I posted the pic.

Keep on clicking the shutter, and you never know what will happen!
