I've been through Reno on my way to somewhere else, but I've never been to Las Vegas and have no desire to go, although Grizzled says I should go at least once.

Actually, I agree with Mr. Adhesive, Jennifer.
I didn't think I would like it much either, but it was not so bad. We saw some really good shows, and the built environment is a useful case study in WHAT NOT TO DO, but the design and detailing was interesting. Lots of money goes a long way.
And it served as a handy jumping off point to some truly astonishing natural beauty, which I am still processing....

1) Yes
2) The annual golf debacle occurs once a year. Last few have been in Vegas, but Charleston, S.C. and Tampa Florida are also repeat locations. Next year will probably be one of those two (we have been doing this since 1995, there were 24 gophers on this trip).
3) Yes
4) I got my soul back for a few days, but then I had to reunderwrite a stupid loan Tuesday (left work after 9pm), and I just got home from the horrible place today. So my soul is gone again, already.
5) I didn't stay out late enough. Darn it!
