Three Dog Bite

I'm linking to Michelle's Nature Notes (#407), Carmi's Thematic Photographic 395 - Letters, Eileeninmd's Saturday's Critters #160, and Anni's I'd Rather B Birdin'. Each host has wonderful pics of their own, plus plenty of other contributors.

Here's another picture of that New Year's Eve hawk in D.C.:

Typical platter bird scene:

For letters, I'm going with Manhattan Pizza. In Virginia. (BTW, cold leftover pizza is great with morning coffee.)

Oh, about my post title:

Mouse over pics for captions, and click them for larger versions.

I have a coopers hawk here everyday and I know it will get lucky at some point.... I will link this is for next week now if you don't mind. Corporate america? Wow...Every classroom I had with a window, that window was open. We had plants and adopted manatees and whales and followed them. I tried to bring nature into the inner city as much as I could... That hawk picture is absolutely gorgeous.

(BTW, cold leftover pizza is great with morning coffee.)

It's even better with morning beer. Did I say that out loud?

Saw an enormous hawk the other day fly right in front of my car. Stopped, observed it up in a small tree. Tried to get a picture with my iPhone camera. Cursed.

Best wishes for the New Year!!

Hawks are such majestic looking birds, I think. I assume the dogs are having a friendly fight!

What ferocious beasts you have! LOL!!

Love the sparrows on the platter. I wonder if the hawk was thinking the same thing.
