Sparrow and Chipmunk Fence

My contribution to TexWiscGirl's Good Fences #111. This is the fence by the basement stairwell (said basement flooded with the heavy rains we got last week).

Carmi returns to Thematic Photographic with 369 - Feeling Nostalgic. Here's a classic Monty Python sketch.
P.S. Mystery Birdie Bush flowers are coming out. They have four white petals. Possibly a Philadelphus coronarius (mock-orange) or relative?

Mouse over pics for captions, and click them for larger versions.

Oh too bad about the flooding! Still, a nice shot of the sparrow & as we don't have chipmunks in Ireland, I adore seeing those wee critters!

Hello, sorry about the basement flooding. We are having a lot of rain and cloudy skies lately.

The chipmunk is cute. Happy Friday, enjoy your weekend!

If it IS mock orange, then the blossoms have a strong, distinctive citrus fragrance. My MIL had one in her yard....and it can be nauseating such a strong scent. We have one door that 'floods' around the bottom each time heavy rains come a certain direction...flooding is NOT fun.

The sparrow and chipmunk are so cute! Sorry to hear about the basement. We don't have basements here in Florida because they would always be flooded!

Hello! Sorry about your basement flooding, it's no fun at all, but it's not always in basements. Sometimes we have a room that floods under the double doors of our bedroom balcony right next to our bedroom. We bought a vacume that's for liquids to always have handy, but thankfully flooding only happens when it's blowing a gale, and in one direction. Causes a hassle though, and some damage. We've just had one, ...maybe that's why I've got carried away here, sorry!:)) Cute shots of the sparrow and chipmunk, and whatever the flowers are, they are pretty.
Have a good weekend!:)

Hope all goes well with your basement! Funny video, and of course cute critters I like that angle of the fence too, and pretty flowers, they're new to me. Have a great weekend.

Hope the basement recovers - nasty things, floods. Love the chipmunk, and that is definitely a philadelphus, though what sort I don't know! We have an identical one. Also a double variety. Glorious!
