I don't often get good moon pics with my camera, but sometimes I get some interesting effects:

Lovely morning glory! Grasshopper and bee! That moon shot is really amazing!
pretty blooms and nice moon shot.
Great moon photo! The morning glory is a great pop of pink against the weathered grey of the fence.

Hello, pretty blooms and a lovely moon capture. Happy Friday, enjoy your weekend!
happy Friday to ya!
Interesting that the outline of the moon shows up in the photo along with the crescent. The critters are great.
What a YOOOGE grasshopper! Looks practically edible and might very well be! Anything to report? ;-)
The sliver of a moon shines brightly, the morning glory dresses the weathered fence, and the hoppergrass (what I called them as a child) attempts to hide. Cute post!
I've eaten grasshoppers, not bad, but crickets are better. The best time to catch 'hoppers is early morning, when it is cool and they are sluggish. They tend to climb to the top of grass stalks and you can easily grab them.
P.S. I am not crazy...
Great catches..I am so sorry when the freeze stops all the insect noise.. it makes me sad to think of them all gone after I enjoy them all summer and into fall.... Michelle
