sweet! we get the walking sticks and katydids here. never get to see deer on our property. :)
The frog is so cute. And I love the katydid and the pretty deer. Great critter post. Thank you for linking up to my critter party.. Enjoy your weekend!
Great photos and animals.
Great critter shots!
I've always found wood frogs to be particularly handsome amphibians- their color scheme is very snazzy. Every spring, I do my vernal pool hike to see the wood frogs doing their thing. If I'm lucky, I'll see a spotted salamander... one of these days, I swear I'll go to the pond at 4AM to see the salamanders on the way to the pool.
B4 sounds like he could be a herpetologist.
I love frogs, and we have so few species here. One native, the Hamilton's Frog, is thought to be one of the rarest in the world, with only about 300 left. What a sad world it would be without frogs!
Nice critters, thunder. Thanks.
Interesting critters. I love the frog.
The frog is adorable. I haven't seen a walking stick for many years, the ones here, if any, must hide very well.:-)
Thanks people!
I didn't even know there was a wood frog. I was trying to compare pictures of pickerel and leopard frogs, until I finally said, "Heck, this one doesn't have any big spots on its back!"

Cute little critters; love them all, but I'm especially smitten with the frog. So cute!
HI Lovely variety in this post. Love Bambi, saw a lot of those when I was on Safari. I have now safely arrived back from 6 weeks away so have LOTS of editing to do!! Thanks for looking in on my posts while I was away and commenting. I appreciate that very much.
Been away. Nice to return to some cool pix. Love the Katydid!
Great group of critter photos!
