Carmi's Thematic Photographic 282 is Go way back. This is a picture of a chameleon (actually, an Carolina Anole, Anolis carolinensis) that I took on Jekyll Island back in the 80s when I still used film. It's overexposed, but I paid extra to have a large print made because it captured the lizard's expression nicely.
And here is that camera, along with sundry extras and original boxes! Digital photography is so much easier.
In unrelated business, here is a Mourning Dove in German Village.

Your link over at Carmi's doesn't work - directs you straight back to Carmi!!
Those ice cream sandwiches look very difficult to eat if those were hard cookies, which they look like. Our wafers were softer, and we licked the ice creak all round first so it got thinner and then nibbled the wafers!!
That mourning dove is very pretty - bit like our Turtle Dove, which, alas, is not doing well in the UK.
To catch both the lizard and the shadow of the mourning dove show that you are a msster of your art.
That lizard photo is very interesting! We have about 3 sets of cameras and paraphenelia that goes with it and is no longer useful. Digital is the way to go but how long will that last before something new comes along!
Thanks, people!
Gilly, the wafers are pretty soft, and even more so once the ice cream starts melting into them.

I dreaming of no snow and watching pigeons and other flying friends randomly picking up treats!
I'm so glad to leave film behind. What an expensive, ponderous way to shoot. Much more fun to shoot to a memory card.
