It's okay Theda, it's better to stay clear of those road kills! Not much you could do for him now!

Hit by a car, or else it was a setup by the raccoon criminal element.

I think you and Theda should have grabbed him. He'd make an interesting curio.

Perhaps that raccoon stuck his nose into the wrong person's garbage.

You coulda' put some food on your family. A little bit of learning goes a long way.

What? No orbs on the 'coon?

Shoulda been a dead skunk in the middle of the road.

Maybe there was, Substance.

Just once, instead of a dead raccoon or a dead cat or a dead squirrel I'd like to come across a dead elected official.

C'mon, Thunder, you just aren't trying hard enough. Few props & a little set design is all it takes. (And some sturdy gloves. Or tongs.)

You got me there, M.B.

P.S. I must send that link to Pinko!

“They [emus] do get killed in roads, but this one died on an emu farm, a very ethical emu farm, during a fight, so it died of natural causes—if you can say an emu can die of natural causes on an emu farm.”

I decry thunder's support of emu fighting.

And you call yourself a liberal.

what a waste if you count the rings you can tell how old it is. measure the widths and you can calculate precipitation levels of any given year.

Your moon pics are always so evocative. I swear, I every time I see them, I get inspired. What kind of willows were in front of this one? Do you know?

Those are little branches at the top of the big honking trees in front of the house. I didn't even know they were there until I downloaded the pics.

I set the f-stop to 8.0 (as far as the G15 goes), and time to 1/250 of second.

Oh, they looked like pussy willows or something. Ugh. Love.
