Carlson finds it "frightening" that "a lot of people consider" Jon Stewart "to be real news".

Bonus Wretchen'! Carlson declares it a "ridiculous...waste" of "taxpayer dollars" for Colbert to testify before House on immigration.

The explaining voice

Notice how the Democrats, the Regime, the media, the Left are calling Arizona's new immigration bill an outrageous usurpation of power. Meanwhile, that same Regime is moving to take away our salt...
- El Fathead

Bonus: Gary Ruppert!

Updated for fish!

Beck again suggests he may be killed: "I'm not suicidal, I'm not depressed, I don't like to swim with the fishes ..."

Conservative blogger Ann Althouse reacts

Conservative blogger on racial epithets: "So what?"
It's also important to distinguish "angry protesters" from particular individuals who cross the line into the kind real ugliness or violence that should be condemned. There's nothing wrong with showing anger at the thing that motivates you to protest. That's what protests are for! The members of Congress have a lot of power, and they ought to have to hear the anger their exercise of that power is causing. It's outrageous for them to pose as victims without very good cause. So what if some idiot said a bad word? That's a trivial distraction compared to the power they are about to exercise in the face of such strong opposition to what they are about to do.
Cry havoc and let slip the dogs of war snarkers of slackitude!

Etc.

John Nichols Writes the 2nd Stupidest Thing I've Read All Day

John Nichols at The Nation, mouse over for captions.

Here's John Nichols' bio.

Seems nifty enough, but this post was right from the playbook of Mark Halperin and John Harris. There was never a significant chance of Craig Deeds winning in Virginia, as John Nichols noted.

NY-23 is one of only two remaining districts in the United States where at least part of the district has not been represented by a Democrat since 1852.

As for New Jersey, here's Eric Boehlert:
What's also astonishing, and this is absolutely ignored by the press, is that the NJ race is only close today becuase the GOP candidate has lost a double-digit lead in recent months. It's only close because the GOP candidate's campaign has imploded since the summertime. But the press doesn't care about that, or what that might say about the GOP. The press only cares if Dems lose.
So what is it to be, John Nichols? If you want a job with the Washington Post, you're going to have hump right-wing thigh more convincingly. Fred Hiatt and subtle are incompatible. If you want to be a good journalist, then stop insulting our intelligence with garbage like this. Hanx in advance!

UPDATE!

HA HA HA!
