Redbuds are all out in D.C. (and coming out in W.V.). I planted two in each front yard. But it will take them a long time to grow into this:

Hello, always nice to see your Theda. The Nuthatch is sweet! The redbuds are looking beautiful. Happy Thursday, enjoy your day!
It will be worthwhile waiting to have a redbud tree like this in your garden! So pretty!
Looks like Theda is on fence watch too!
Gorgeous blossoms.
i have one redbud on my place and almost lost it a few years back in the drought. happily, it came back stronger and larger. :)
cute theda checking things out.
It will be worth planting it in a few years!
Lovin' Theda!!! And redbuds...now is that not one tree that has heart shaped leaves?
Great to look at these lovely photos. Have a wonderful weekend :)
I finally was able to nurse a red bud along long enough to it's third year in a huge bucket and it's survived now for about three more years in the ground. I love redbuds..second only to dogwood trees, which I have never been able to get to grow in my yard.
Oh it does look like Spring in your area ~ wonderful shots ~ Love Theda in the garden ~ ^_^
Wishing you a happy weekend ~ ^_^
Great fences and beautiful flowering tree. Have a great day!
Having a beautiful Spring here as well. Cooler than any I remember. Just ask the guys at The Masters.

That's the one! They are lovely, lovely trees, useful too. You can eat the flowers and the tender young seed pods.
That is sure a cute dog in that first pic...and a beautiful redbud tree.
Yes, we have a redbud tree in our yard about as big as the one in your picture, unfortunately it is nearly dead. :-( Hoping it comes back this spring but I don't think so. I'll have to re-plant; they are so pretty!
Take care,
wow, the blooming tree is a beauty. :)
