My contribution to Eileeninmd's Saturday's Critters #122. I went to visit Broad Branch with Theda yesterday. We found one mallard.
Blue Jay visits to the yard are relatively rare. I heard the familiar tweet of a Cardinal, looked out the window and got my first picture of one there.
The Blue Jay heard me and flew off, leaving the seeds to Mr. and Mrs. Cardinal.
How about a closeup of Mr. Cardinal in the sun? (I'm also linking to Anni's I'd Rather Be Birdin'.)

Happy Saturday to you, I bet Theda had a fun time too. Very nice critter shots, and spring is sure here for you too!
It's a great time of year to see a Cardinal in full summer dress

What a beautiful colour the bluejay is! It matches the frisbee. Is the forsythia full of flowers yet??
These are great! I never seem to find such friendly birds.
The Blue Jay heard me and flew off, leaving the seeds to Mr. and Mrs. Cardinal.
That's a blue jay for you, they know they're roguish little scamps, always getting into mischief.
Hope you have a terrific week ahead, and thanks so much for participating and sharing your birds for us at I'd Rather B Birdin'.
I would LOVE to see a blue jay in MY yard. Green with envy I am.
Always enjoy your bird photos. The blue jay is beautiful. Happy Sunday!
Really good photos! They are all such colorful birds and seem happy to have plenty to eat! Hugs!

We get plenty of Jays here, but we also get bluebirds! they are a tad shy and I haven't been able to get a picture yet.

Wonderful visitors. They seem to love your setup of seeds and water. Beautiful color on that last cardinal!
