My contribution to Eileeninmd's Saturday's Critters #112. Here are some song sparrows from when the snow was still around. Both house sparrows and song sparrows join the cardinals in the backyard. (I'm also linking to Anni's I'd Rather Be Birdin'.)
Of course Nutkin gets in on the party (post title reference):

Great photos!
There is a lot of competition here, too, between the birds and the squirrels
Sweet little sparrows! That's a great shot of the sparrow with wings fully extended!
Nutkin has claimed top spot!
thanks for adding this post link to I'd Rather B Birdin' this week....To have all these in your own back yard is making me quite jealous.
Hello, I've been seeing a lot of sparrows lately. They are all so pretty, I love all the birds. Thank you for linking up and sharing your post. Have a happy weekend!

Fascinating overhead viewpoint.
Are you using drones now, Thunder?
I love that shot of the bird flying. Interesting persepctive. I always enjoy squirrels. Very cute.
so cute.
Sweet birds and I always like to see a squirrel!
Great cardinal pictures.
everyone showed up for lunch
Squirrel always capture my heart.
Just wonderful! Love all your visitors!
I love it when they queue up.
The birds are probably glad the snow is gone, I've often wondered how their tiny feet can take all the cold temperatures. The Cardinals are great, I would so love to have some here, Thunder. I'm sure the birds and squirrel really appreciate the seed, ours seem to always be watching for when we will put some out.
So many birds love to feed off the ground. Then, of course, we can't see them. Except on your blog post.
So that's a nutkin! I like seeing ours but sometimes they overwhelm the feeders and I scare them away... for a few minutes.
