My contribution to Eileeninmd's Saturday's Critters #114. (I missed TexWiscGirl's Good Fences #100, but you should visit!) And I'm also linking to Michelle's Nature Notes (#350).
The sparrows cleared out a dust bath circle for themselves.
By the way, that's an upside-down frisbee I'm using for a bird bath. Mouse over pics for captions, and click them for larger versions.

Yes..some like it dusty... LOL... I am glad you could get linked in..I usually close it on Friday, but I am late this week.. Great idea about the frisbee as a bird bath.. Michelle
Nice shots of little Nutkin. Give Theda a hug for me. Looks like this could have been a post for TP's "Cold", as well.
Big furry dog, lying on snowy ground.
Makes me want to put on my mucklucks and go hunt mammoth...
Gotta love Nutkin eating that treat in photo number 1.
That frisbee must be just the right size for small birds to have a bath! Not good for pigeons, though! Like the squirrel.
Hello, cute shots of the squirrel and your sweeet watchdog. The frisbee is a great idea. Thank you for linking up and sharing your post. Happy Sunday, enjoy your new week!
frisbees are so versatile
Wonderfully creative captures of squirrel, 'bird bath' and your sweet guard dog ~
Happy Week to you ~ ^_^
i like theda keeping watch.
Maybe I need a frisbee to hold some water. My birds don't ever seem to use mine that is in a shallow dish.
love the frisbee idea! have a lovely week!
lol, sparrows are intelligent birds and squirrel are intelligent animals :)
Now I've found a use for my grandkids old frisbees littering the garden. Nice Cardinal.
Clever use for the frisbee. Cute photos, especially of Theda :)
It's like the squirrel doesn't even realize there's a tripod there!
That must make fascinating entertainment for Theda. I saw interesting seed mixes in the store, laced with cayenne or hot pepper, that burned the squirrels' mouths but were undetectable to the birds. I'm tempted to try that out.
The squirrels do win the backyard wars. Most of the time.
