Carmi's Thematic Photographic 354 is Down on the ground. This is a Common Checkered-Skipper, Pyrgus communis. I don't think I've ever seen one before.
This is my contribution to TexWiscGirl's Good Fences #86. I don't think this little tree meant to flower in November, but it's pretty nonetheless.
Another shot of the flowers, and I'm also contributing to Michelle's Nature Notes (#337).

Great capture of the butterfly! We have a tree that blossoms spring & autumn & they do add a nice bit of colour to the garden.
Beautiful pictures of butterfly, nature and fence.
It's so warm the poor little moth can't find any wool to munch. Flowers blooming.
They are superb shots, but I love the Checkered-Skipper, fantastic.
It's amazing, but with the warmer temperatures it's really a treat to see blossoms still! Great shots from the ground to the fence too! Enjoy your day.
Very nice shots, thunder. I see that the Checkered-Skipper is described as "extremely rare to very rare", so well done for spotting it!
Beautiful blossoms, though late in the season!
We have a few Azaleas in the front yard that are still blooming too, here in Atlanta, GA.
Nice find for a Good Fences.
Have a Great Day!
Peace :)
Pretty little butterfly. - Lovely blooming trees and a nice fence. I think some of the trees get mixed up when the weather is warm in Nov. - They seem to think it's spring instead of fall.
Pretty butterfly.. We have a couple of warm days which allowed a few more of my flowers to bloom...Michelle
Good to see a butterfly in November especially one we don't get here.
I see you still take lovely pictures! :)
Hey... I've missed you my friend. :)
((Hugs))
