Pretty expensive...maybe these are the ones we need?
So I ended up just taking pictures and going back home for further research. Meanwhile, Theda waited outside.
It's still peak butterfly season. This is my contribution to Michelle's Nature Notes (#326).

LED's are expensive, but long-lived. I go for compact fluorescents myself.

At first I was thinking you might have caught a butterfly in a grocery store! Lovely captures. I do that same thing of taking photos of stuff sometimes that I might want or that I know someone else is looking for. I have sent a good many photos especially to my daughter that loves to cook!

I love Theda..... Wow..that is expensive and we have lots of odd lights here that we buy for. I am so glad you have butterflies and I hope I get these two monarchs on their way tomorrow when the fall cold air leaves...Michelle
Theda knows the best place to be. Butterflies have been scare here till just this week - no swallowtails though.
She is such a sweet dog: Looks so happy waiting for you to return. Doubtless she'd agree the bulbs are scandalously expensive: specialty lights are always ridiculously priced.
