Carmi's Thematic Photographic 325 is Rubbery.
Funny thing...that stuff used to be around more when I was little. Now most everything is plastic. So here's one of my car tires.
The handle of this paring knife feels like rubber. Maybe it is?
In other birdness, the shadow knows!
I don't think I ever heard Guided By Voices until BLCKDGRD put me on to them.

Innit all neoprene in today's horridly modern world?
I was going to take a shot of as car tyre, but couldn't get down low enough! So settled for the Bike!
Glad you've got sparrows - they are almost an endangered species here in the UK - seriously!
you're right about plastics taking over everything. :)
Maybe the knife handle was made from recycled car tires? I'm a fan of recycling, so if we have to use plastics, let's recycle them to use again.
I like that video, and all the old goodies in it! Very cool paring knife! I am a fan of a good sharp paring knife (taught by mother) every kitchen should have one!
When I think of 'rubbery' I think of Charlie Callas's face. Or the French forward—Ribery.
Sparrow smorgasbord!
Sparrows are all I get at my feeder at the moment! The mynahs try, but they're too big to balance on it.
i know what you mean about the preponderance of plastic - I had to resort to tyres..
Hearing this group is a first time for me. He had a rubber boot in his place, too.
Great pictures.
Lots of rubber in the video as well.
Gilly, the English sparrow was introduced to the US by an upper class twit who wanted to bring every bird mentioned by Shakespeare to NY's Central Park. They are cute, but invasive.
We should do a swap- we'll send back your sparrows and you send back our gray squirrels. That should make most people happy.
