Tiny Toads Have Tiny Toes and Other Summer Tales:

Barcelona Fence and More:

Last of the August 2014 Butterflies

Also: while the internet was out last week, I missed a fence post... But I'm not missing TexWiscGirl's Good Fences 43:

Last but not least, while I was in W.V. I took a lot of feeder pics.

That tiny toad is cute! Does he get to normal toad size later? Or he might be a she maybe?
Had to go and find out about the difference between chickadees and titmice - none seem to be the same family as our Tits - Blue, Great, Coal and Tufted. Must be related some where back, I suppose! Great photos, as usual.
my favorite is the fence shot because of the beauty looking though it. i love dogs and i love tiny toads..
thank you! love your look-out pooch from the porch! :)
How nice of you adding all the other nice pictures to the fence ;)
Love that cute little frog! Is it a baby or is it that tiny?
Have a fine weekend

Your teeny tiny little frog and your pups always top of my favorites of your photos!
That little toad or frog is really super tiny! The fence on the patio counts for sure. I'm amazed that the chickadee might be in the same family as the titmouse. Hmmmmm.
that is such a tiny toad. Love the dog at the fence.
Wow, these are nice...not sure which is my favorite. I do love the chickadee and tufted titmouse at the end, but the others are sure nice, too.
Hi there, many thanks for visiting my blog.
I love fence and dog too :D)
Lovely photos, especially the first.
Awwww....love that tiny toad!
Very enjoyable post. Loved the little toad and the dog looking through the fence.
What a tiny little toad! Love the fence, but especially the dog. :-)
I love all your photos! Such neat looking subjects.
Pretty bird at the suet feeder! Of course I'm an avid birder.
Like the winter scenery too.
And the summertime butterfly.
The sweet dog on the deck by the fence is a great photo also.
The shadows of the dragonfly wings on the textured stone...truly amazing shot!
Hey very cool, don't forget to share your frozen lake pictures! They are all we have this time of year! Must love them all!
I love that little frog. So cute :)
The dragonfly shot is so cool! I live in WV hope you enjoyed your visit here. :)
I love the toad picture. I ran into a lot of them last summer, and spent a bit of time moving them from the bottom of a stairwell at work to the nearby shrubs.
The dragonfly picture is perfect- I love how you caught the color filtered through the wings.
The frog is so cute! And I love the doggie. Great series of images.. Happy weekend!
Those toads actually grow up in to full-sized ones (not that they're huge at that point, either). Unlike the similar-sized peepers, which stay pretty small.

Delightful photos of these favorites! Ahhh summer! :-)
Some of my fondest childhood memories are of happening upon "mini-toads"! I was allowed to catch them until one showed up in my mother's flour canister... I blame my brothers...
I miss all these critters from summer!
