Carmi's Thematic Photographic 255 is Repetitious. I'm going to keep taking pictures of these critters until I get it right. (Not to mention, see you and raise, M.B.!)

Me: "Siri, I would like to see pictures of butterflies."
Siri: "Did you say tincture of iodine?"
Me: "Fuck it."
Siri: "I'm sorry I can't do that right now."
Me: "Arrrgggh."
Cute little critters, aren't they?
Do they let you ski on that lake?
'Cause it's always so glassy and seems to be long enough to have some fun at the end of a tow-rope...
Is this your Lake Siri?

Can't find it on Google maps - is it really small? (but beautifully formed, obviously!
Mikey, it's just a glorified mud puddle. But it looks great when the light hits it just right.
Which is to say...Yes, Alexia, it's pretty small. And that's the waterfall below it (a small creek feeds it, as well).

Keep takin' 'them, not because you haven't perfected it yet, but because they are great closeups.
Lovely colours on those critters! Well done :)
Don't you just hate it when the butterflies close their wings, The dragonfly was much more cooperative. Keep taking them, they will be gone soon enough.
I think the shots of the wildlife are great! What is that butterfly covered in yellow spots called?
There were just over 2000 passengers on the ship, which was too big with too many people on it! However, off the ship we could get away and see all sorts of things!!
Completely mind blowing! I had a little butterfly adventure yesterday, and not just in my own little greenhouse, but at the county fair. They had a spot in the center of a flower garden you could lay in wait of butterflies to come sit with you! Very cool!
Part 2 of butterfly watch....very cool, it was until the bees came in! Yikes! Gotta go....

I'm calling them Silvery Checkerspots.
They could be Pearl Crescents, though.
