Weekend Lepidoptera

This weekend featured a party on Saturday at a friend's house, and Comfest Sunday. More pics to come (as always, click on pic for a bigger version).

Maybe the professionals at the Old Entomologist could weigh in.

P.S. Those two were a pair, I took a similar picture earlier in which they were right next to each other. They were flying around together.

Another Kiwi said...: After exhaustive consultations with two blokes in the Squid and Cockle Bar at the O.E. I am guessing that The ones with the colours and the wings, that don't make honey are the butterflies.
