Great stuff, Thunder. Do you ever listen to High on Fire? One of the few new metal bands I dig, in part because they have an old school aesthetic with a heavier sound. Plus how can I not love a song called "Frost Hammer"?

And that live version of "Rockaway Beach" is incredible. Still sounds blistering 30 years later.

I saw the Ramones at Toad's Place in New Haven a year or so after that was recorded, Brando.

RAWKED!

I haven't heard of High on Fire, but I'm going to check 'em out.

Hanx!

I lament the fact that Joey Ramone was never able to sing a duet with Bob Halford.

Toad's is an awesome venue- saw everyone from Fishbone to the 'Mats to Robyn Hitchcock there.

Plus, any place that references The Wind in the Willows is awesome!

Jealous, is all. I didn't see the Ramones until that tour with Blondie and the Tom Tom club.
