Walk stalkly and carry a big beak
Here's another bird picture from the Tampa area. These are huge birds with red crowns.
Anyone getting more than a hint of Emu?
They are Sandhill Cranes.

I think that crane is about to be pickpocketed.
The Washington bird site is very cool, Thunder.
Is this bird related to the Frasier Crane in anyway? I notice that it's mating ritual is to smear itself with mud, I thought that I was the only one!
Nah. I don't see double A Ann in the photo.
Brando, the vibe I got at the time was:
"Mom, can I have some money to go to the mall?"
"Ask your father!"
Of course, some might consider this the same thing.
Another Kiwi, It is established in Frasier that Frasier Winslow Crane was born in Seattle in March 1952...
AG, it is true that this bird has a much longer beak.

I'm hungry.
I thought I scented a hint of Emu, but it was the cologne of the guy next to me.
