Weather Dragon

Carmi's Thematic Photographic 319 is Animal Planet. Also posted in Stewart M's Wild Bird Wednesday 125.

Here is a Weather Dragon:

The vultures I usually see in West Virginia are turkey vultures. Here is a pair of black vultures in Ashburn, Va. Eileeninmd has some photos up of them today, as well.

I have turtles and birds [of a different feather] also.

The patient turtle is my favorite today.

Now what a patient turtle you have! The weather vane is super!

Glad the turtle is not a snapper. I wondered what a weather dragon was - neat! Can't wait to see Rory's pup grow up.

That first house must be secretly housing a Targaryen. [That's a Game of Thrones reference, yo!]

Cloudy with a chance of FIRE!!!

I like vultures, they are a useful part of the cleanup crew. Turkey vultures are pretty common in my neck of the woods.

Nice photos of the dragon and vultures. There may be turkey vultures somewhere here but I don't see them. The mother dog and puppy are so cute.
