I agree with Cloudia!

Just discovered, thanks to M'sieu Wikipedia, that the woodchuck is a groundhog is a marmot. Are they cute, or not really?

Evidently your part of the world gets a decent amount of rainfall - golf courses/driving greens would never be that verdant and - well, green, at the end of our summers!

Thanks to Alexia above, I now know a woodchuck is a marmot - and I know what marmots are, we discovered them in the Italian Dolomites a few years ago!

Like your greenery - and the starring celebs!

I played golf in NC over Labor Day and saw 3-4 deer hanging out by the 12th hole. Not the least bit intimidated.

Nearly had my second hole-in-one, much to my brother's chagrin, on the par 3 14th. Missed it by about 8-9 inches.

Okay, how much wood would a woodchuck chuck, if a woodchuck could chuck wood? Sorry I just had to say it! All of it, if he could!
I always enjoy your captions, greenery, and wildlife, and bugs too! I trust you had a fun filled Labor Day!

We rarely see deer on our golf course. The deer must hope they are out of range. Really lush trees in the woodpecker shot.

The golf course deer are pretty blase. They've seen it all!

Except for a hole-in-one by moi...never happened, YET.
