Once, playing golf ...Those are some ugly-ass birds. Once, playing golf in Alabama (Rob't Trent Jones Golf Trail!), I shanked a ball over a little rise toward some lakey water hazard. I was playing alone, staying in a cabin to draft a story while my boy was in Space Camp for the week. Anyway, I come driving up over this hill and see about a dozen of those big boys surrounding a big-mouth bass they'd apparently dragged out of the lake. Big fish. BIG birds. My ball was like ten or 15 feet from its dead, open mouth. The buzzards dispersed but didn't fly away. I quietly took my ball back to the fairway, took the stroke, and played on. But as far as those scary Vultures, and other hungry soaring wonders, I do fear for the life of one of my dogs he's about 7 pounds and there seems to be a few too many hungry ones scouting about. Seriously! So I never leave his side outdoors!21 Witshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00071361755673253230noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6553149188531956419.post-3272636463727496882013-10-26T21:27:04.957-04:002013-10-26T21:27:04.957-04:00"The Moon's the North Wind's cooky.
